YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue delivering blows to the ISIS gangs in their so-called capital which is being cleared of terror now following an occupation of 4 years.
SDF fighters have destroyed a bomb-laden vehicle before it reached its target in the neighborhood of Nazlat Shedade south of Raqqa.
As clashes continue in the neighborhood, SDF fighters have broken the gangs’ lines of defense and are making further advances, and conducting clearing operations in the liberated streets.
During yesterday’s fighting in the city, 35 ISIS members were killed and 4 bomb-laden vehicles of theirs were destroyed.
The operation to liberate Raqqa launched on June 6 and SDF has gained control over 45 percent of the city since.
