Syrian Defence Forces repel several ISIS attacks west of Raqqa

YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are making further advances in their ongoing operation to liberate Raqqa from ISIS.

ISIS gangs launched an attack on Sabahiya neighborhood west of Raqqa from three directions earlier today. As SDF fighters repelled the attack, several ISIS members were killed and many arms of theirs were seized during clashes.

SDF fighters have cleared the Sinaa neighborhood and entered the Batani neighborhood on the eastern front of Raqqa early Thursday morning.
