Eleven people suspected of preparing assassinations and recruiting fighters for the Islamic State group, were arrested in Albania and Kosovo, according to the AFP news agency that quoted officials sources on Sunday.
The Albanian police stated that on Saturday they had arrested the four persons on suspicion of recruiting jihadist fighters for Islamic State, providing logistics and financial support for the terror organisations and preparing to travel to war zones in the Middle East to join the Islamic State.
As many as seven were arrested in Kosovo on suspicion of terrorism and threats to state security.
Local media outlets have reported that those are allegedly the IS group’s followers who have prepared assassinations in the Balkans.
