Human rights organizations pass funding on to the Muslim Brotherhood

Sources close to the Muslim Brotherhood confirm that in the past, civil society organizations were used as conduits of foreign funding for its ideology and members. These organizations would conceal their real sources of funding, which came chiefly from the USA and the Western Europe. Sameh Eid, a Brotherhood leader and researcher of Islamic movements, claimed that the Brotherhood defends Egypt’s human rights organizations thanks to the strong bond and collaboration between them in the transfer of funds to individuals belonging to the Brotherhood in Egypt.
