Muslim Brotherhood leader shares details about the financing of the group’s TV channels

Brotherhood leader Ezz Eldeen Dwedar, the main opponent and rival of General Guide Mahmoud Ezzat, shared information on the capital being used to finance the Brotherhood TV channels “Al-Hiwar” and “Watan. He claimed that “Al-Hiwar” belongs to Ezzat’s faction, comprised of its owner Ibrahim Munir (Deputy-Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood) and another Muslim Brotherhood activist Dr. Azzam al-Tamimi. On the other hand, “Watan” TV channel is owned by Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood Administrative Office Abroad and is supervised by the organization’s former Secretary-General, Mahmoud Hussein.
