ISIS propaganda picture shows Santa standing with cynamite and overlooking Times Square in New York

An ISIS propaganda image seems to indicate that the terrorist group may attempt to carry out an attack on Times Square in New York City around Christmas:

“We meet at Christmas in New York … soon,” the image reads. The image, which was the latest in a line of apparent warnings to residents of major cities, depicted Santa Claus overlooking Times Square and standing next to a box of dynamite.

According to the Daily Mail, similar images emerged with indications that militants would attack Paris, London, and the Vatican.

Terrorists reportedly used encrypted communication channels to share the propaganda. “Soon on your holidays,” an image of London read.

One image showed an apparent terrorist overlooking the Vatican while standing next to a rocket launcher.

It indicated that terrorists would spare no one in a potential attack. “We will not exclude the young elderly or women you are all in the crosshairs of our arrows and what is about to come is more even worse,” it said.
